Weird question but why do guys like to touch my nose alot? It's weird..

My last boyfriend did this too! After we got to know each other,

he kept poking or tugging on my nose. i wasn't annoyed just confuse because most guys just like to touch the small of my back or poke me a lot or touch my arms but m nose? what on earth?

My Friends boyfriend who I work with, is also doing the same now! I would never ever ever do anythig with him. he's a really attractive guy, but I would never do anythig with him i respect him and my friend very much besides we are all really chill with each other.

 

I work at a deli part time and I'm the only young girl there, I work with a lot of guys.. most 19-25 year olds and they keep teasing me again about my height but i sometimes laugh about it.. it gets annoying because it's like they think because I'm small I can't work as fast but I do...

I get more work done then they do lol! but.. now they keep touching my nose.. like poking it or tugging it, it's so weird! I'll walk by and help them out and than either or tug or poke my nose, I don't get it lol this happens too often so what's that about...

Are you referring to the gesture of taking someone's nose between the thumb and index finger and squeezing it a bit? That's typically done by adults to little kids. I suspect it's just a continuation of them regarding you as really small or just a "squirt". It's not sexual. Still, if it bothers you I would let them know. It's a workplace environment and they should be professional.

No--I'm not quite sure you're following. Playing with someone's nose is typically something adults do to youngsters. Considering that you are regularly teased for being very short, this form of teasing falls into that. They see you as short and like a little kid, so they're doing things adults typically do to little kids. I'm sure your nose is perfectly fine.

That's really odd. Unless it was a relative (like a grandpa- who always still sees you as a "kid") or a lover I would not want people touching my nose. I'd find it condescending- especially at work. I also wouldn't want people's germy hands near my face like that in general.

 

I think you need to be assertive and simply say "Don't touch my nose"
