Question about my vulva...

Ok so, I really have no clue where to post this. But this seemed like a good place full of vulva-savvy people, haha.

 

Well ok, it's really a question about my urethra. I have this pointy bit of flesh that extends right under my urethra opening, a little less than a centimeter long. Almost like a little penis, only it's REALLY tiny and has no head. Hahaa, I have really no other way to describe it. I've never seen this on any other female. Though it's not like I've seen another vulva in person, but from pictures of anatomy and the like, I've never seen it.

 

Does anyone else have it? Or know what the hell it is? I think it's just extra skin, but it's just so perfectly round and pointy...

Please don't make fun, I feel silly enough as it is. Also, I've never been to a gyno, I'm too nervous.

What you think to be a strange and peculiar "little penis" is a clitola known as a "clit." It has no use which is why you dont see it on Anatomy and Phisiology posters. It is "kinda" like a penis as it is sensitive and feels good when touched. But, it very common dont worry, your not some girl who is all alone. My GF has it as well. She said all her friends had one as well cause they were wondering. Dont be nervous nothin to feel silly about.

So it's between your urethra and the opening to your vagina?

 

It's possible it's just extra flesh. Does it hurt or feel sensitive in any way? Your best bet would be getting an exam from a doctor to make sure everything is a-ok down there.

There is such a wide range of what female genitals look like that pictures never accurately depict what they look like. And I've seen quite a few of them.

The clit is above the urethra. The OP is asking about something that is extending from below her urethra and above the vaginal opening. I have seen some women who have little bunches of flesh extending around the vaginal opening that makes it look kind of jagged if that makes sense. It sounds like what you are describing is just extra flesh. Does it hurt? I don't think you have anything to worry about. Everyone's vulva is different.

The clit is above the urethral opening, not below it. So it's not that.

 

sounds like it's just a small fold of flesh. The vulva has many folds. As long as it doesn't hurt, I wouldn't fret.

I just want to add that I think it's good that you've taken the time to explore what you look like down there. A lot of women have never seen their own genitals.
