Usually if an ex contacts me months later the feelings are so gone that I dont even recognise it as reaching out. I see it as boredom and address book surfing.

Yes, and yes---and, he has been stringing me along ever since (almost two years). Though I was thrilled to see him again, it was (still is) the same. Had I rejected him when he came back or been more clear what I wanted from our relationship, I would be healed by now and wouldn't be going through more heartache.

I'm not going to jump at the bait, if she wants to get my attention she can ask for it directly. If she's going to play games, then she can play alone. She made her choice to go back to her ex, she only took me along for the ride.
