temptazn
I'm going to USA in 3 weeks!! I'm in new York for a few days and I was thinking about checking out a Yankees game. Now I don't want to spend more than $60 for a ticket so what seating would be the best to choose? Why are bleachers seats so cheap and what does bleachers even mean?! Lol might be a silly question but we don't have baseball here in new zealand! Thanks in advance

mrwebcam
Bleacher Seats are cheaper cause they are higher up in the ball park, they are not as close to the baseball field. You can still see everything but not up close. New york tickets are gonna be expensive anyways so there really is no cheap seat
lastcall23
I am from New York and have been to tons of Yankee Games. Bleacher seats aren't all that bad. Most people don't like them because for one they are as "coushy" as the other seating in the stadium and like mrwebcam said, they are not as close to the field as most people would like but they still are quite close and I actually prefer them because the people that normally sit in the bleachers are very fun, loud people and they make the game that much more fun. Good luck and I hope you get to experience a game while your here!
temptazn
Thanks for the advice guys so if I ended up getting bleachers seats would I need to get the tickets in advance or can I get them on the day? How early would you recommend to arrive at the stadium before the game starts? I was almost going to purchase tickets in the main outfield seats but if it's more fun in the bleachers then why not
