mfan
I've heard that women get dozens of personal ad responses every day but most are just "Hi" or "hey babe gorgous" or something useless like that. But can the women here give me an idea how many good messages they receive per day? E.g. how many messages do you receive per day that you consider worthy of a response (whether you actually respond or not)? 1? 5? 10? Thanks very much. This is just to help me judge what the odds are of a response to any particular message I send. Link to comment
blackhawks1287
I know what you mean, when I dabbled in it for a little bit...the responses seemed so small and you can only contact so many people around you... When you start to see the same women you have already emailed then its like...whats the point. Link to comment
Ariel85
Honestly? When I did OLD, I would say about one every two weeks was worth a response. Link to comment
banal
Two women I've been seeing have told me that my message was the last good one they had gotten in over a month. Take it FWIW. Link to comment

Ariel85
Pretty much. Maybe even less frequently. True, because out of that two a month I thought was worthwhile, maybe one actually was. When I really think about it, I think I would meet possibly one guy a month, if that much. And OP - this was out of hundreds of messages. Some like the ones you mentioned, others were the form emails, others are the persistent guys who repeat, but most just weren't appropriate. It really is a weeding out process. Link to comment
Stay_home
Sending good quality messages that express well thought out sentences, comments or questions and not "yo, ay, wassup, ma," is one of the reasons I've always been able to generate decent # responses from online dating sites. Link to comment
pinkelephant
Depends on how often I'm on. When I'm on more often, I get more. Like, in a week I get maybe 5-6? So it averages one a day? Link to comment

orchidrose
Honestly? When I did OLD, I would say about one every two weeks was worth a response. Agreed. It was certainly not daily. This seems like a good estimate, though at times I got maybe two in two weeks or one good one in a month. Link to comment
Cheetarah
Yes, DEFINITELY not daily. I think this summed up my daily log of intro messages: 1). Hey 2). hi 3). sup baby 4). h r u? 5). ur so batufiul rite me bak bye 6). hey, what's up? 7). yo 8= I want to get to know the inner part of your heart. 9). I read ur profile, lets talk 10). *Site wink* (look at profile, phone number is cleverly hidden in their collar so they can avoid paying membership fees) Link to comment
