dede1227 Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 I've hung out with this guy for the last two weeks. I want him to know that I like him and that I'm attracted to him. How can I make this clear and obvious to him, but also kinda subtle at the same time? I wanna say he likes me also. Thanks guys!!!
henryfirst Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Just say it as it is. Being subtle is ridiculous in this case.
capilot Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Touch him. Casually bump up against him more than random chance can account for. Touch his arm to emphasize a point in conversation. Lean against him from time to time. If he's a shy guy, he'll have a hard time believing it, so keep it up. Or: let him "accidentally" see you naked.
dede1227 Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 Hahahaha @ the 'accidentally...' suggestion!! I just think I'm not the best person at being flirtatious.
magnoliatree Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Why do you think that he isn't interested? Can you tell us more about the time you've spent together?
SometimesShy Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Touch him. Casually bump up against him more than random chance can account for. Touch his arm to emphasize a point in conversation. Lean against him from time to time. If he's a shy guy, he'll have a hard time believing it, so keep it up. I know lots of "touchy feely" women that do this all the time and mean absolutely NOTHING by it, so if a woman touches my shoulder or arm I just ignore the gesture. A woman has to be completely obvious about her interest to clue me in, which is a rare event in my life. What I get all the time is this long endless eye-contact but these women won't smile or approach, they just stare from a distance waiting for me to make a move, which I never do because I'm too shy for these situations.
dede1227 Posted July 26, 2011 Author Posted July 26, 2011 Ok! We started hanging out a little more than 2 weeks ago. The first couple of dates we ended with hugs. Then by the 3rd or 4th date we actually kissed. The last couple of times we have hung out, we hung out for like 5-7 hours. When we've hung out, we've gone out to eat, had drinks, we went to the mall, golfing, and he introduced me to his dogs. Lol. I haven't dated in awhile so I'm not sure if this is progressing into a relationship or what....
magnoliatree Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Honey, you've gone on dates, hugged, kissed, had a good time. He knows that you like him and it sounds like he likes you too! Just keep doing what you're doing because it seems to be working well so far. Go with the flow and don't stress!
Ms Darcy Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 It may become a relationship. It may not. Enjoy it for what it is!
