Insuchamess
A lady friend of mine said her last menstral period began on or about April 1. She said that she is usually regular, with a 24-28 day cycle. I had sex with her on April 5th, April 17, April 22, and the last week of April sometime. I later learned that she also had sex on April 12 with someone else. She is now 16 weeks pregnant. Without the benefit of a amnio test (as it may be to risky at this point), what is the more likely conception date??? Help please. Link to comment
HeartGoesOn
I would take a guess at April 17th, which is mid cycle, although this is not always accurate for everyone. Link to comment

metrogirl
link removed This is why it's not such a great idea for a woman to have unprotected sex with multiple partners. Just sayin.... Link to comment
OptomisticGirl
A woman's fertile dates can change month to month so at thsi point, it's a toss up. What are they giving her conception date as? Link to comment
Kitkat973
Sperm can survive in the vagina for up to a week, so given the dates you cannot really be certain about who is the father. Link to comment
Insuchamess
I'm not too sure avout the given conception date but her given due date is 1/6/12 Link to comment
Insuchamess
One possibly important note is that she was spotting on April 17 when I was with her.... w what appeared to be cervical mucous. Ovulation spotting maybe? or implantation spotting from possible conception from April 12, or is that too soon for implantation spotting ? opinions please... Link to comment
OptomisticGirl
There is really NO way you are going to be able to tell wihtout a) a test before the baby is born or b) after the baby is born. Just no way. Most doctors should give a date for conception (or just count by 16 weeks) although this can be off a lot of the time. As Kitkat said, it could be either considering sperm can live in the vagina for up to a week. Link to comment
Seraphim
There is no way to tell who the baby belongs to until it is born(unless you do an amnio which can cause miscarriage). Conception dates and sonos are only ESTIMATIONS. For example, by sonogram, they told me my son weighed 8 pounds the week before his birth. When he was born he was a little over SIX pounds. That is a HUGE difference in weight in a baby. Only a DNA test will tell you. Link to comment
BellaDonna
Based on your other thread I can see why you want to know this- but a paternity test is really the only true way to find out. Link to comment
