Breast implants

Has anyone gotten them? If so, how was your experience and recovery?

The part I'm not so sure of, is getting back to work with big boobies. I hold a professional desk job with employee supervision, not exactly a bar maid I work in a very guy oriented field (IT), so I'm not sure how to deal with the reactions. Did you announce it formally or did you just act like everything was normal? I'm unsure whether I should tell my close co-worker friends or not. They tell me they watch porn on their TV setup, so I assume telling them I am getting large boobies won't be too much of a sexual harassment issue?

I don't have them... but I kind of think this is one of those things where you only really have to tell one person in "confidence". Haha! You know... it gets around.

Other than that, I'd simply try to have a sense of humour about it. I don't think you have to "announce" it... but if people notice just say something crazy like "Yeah... I just woke up one morning and they were there." LOL! People will get it.

Other than that, technically it's a work environment. They kinda have to shut up about it anyways... I wouldn't expect you to get harrassed (and if you do, go to HR)

My best friend had them! She's a nurse and alot of our close friends are male!! She didnt announce it, but people just found out! Just gossip! She always jokes about having bigger feet and just took it on the chin! And yeah her confidence was boosted so was quite obvious! no one minded! If anything she's more respected for doing it for herself an not for anyone else xx

I don't have large sized boobs by any means. I used to be a B cup which was ok with me, but after the pregnancies I went to an A which I am not so fond of. I also don't gain any weight in my boobs, it goes straight to my ass. It's not like gaining 10-15lbs would help any. I would need to gain something like a good 60-80lbs to increase my cup size naturally as I'm pear shaped. That just sounds like a bad idea for my health, so I'd rather go with plastic surgery lol

My aunt had a really bad time. She had one that leaked and it had to be replaced and it got all infected and she just had a HORRENDOUS time. She wished she had never done it. Mind you this was like 30 years ago so I am sure it is all different.

I would not tell anyone.

Nahn, pregnancy just wrecks a toll on your body and the shape in general. I was pretty lucky though as I don't have any visible stretch marks or had any tearing.

The hormones which increases breast size is probably what plays the biggest part but the breast feeding probably doesn't help. I told myself I would do the breast feeding deal, and if I didn't like my boobs after I would just get surgery. I think it's pretty important to bond with the babies, so it's not like I would refuse to do it simply for aesthetics.

Nice round ass is perfect so I suggest being happy with that. (LOVE that on a girl)

As for implants I would urge you reconsider as I've yet to meet a girl who has them AND they looked good.

SMALLER BREASTS ARE BETTER! I can't stress that enough. A or B is absolutely perfect so don't buy into the stupid implant crap.

I don't think you need to tell ANYONE about your plastic surgery, and I wouldn't recommend it, as some people are really against it, and can give you a lot of negativity in advance. You won't want that.

Trust me, though. Your coworkers will figure it out when you come back from "vacation".

A few of my gf's have fakies, and the best set I saw was my gf who had the implants put in UNDER the muscle. Doing so will give you a more natural look, rather than those odd boobs we all see that look like they are placed on like two balloons on dry wall.

I do have a natural Brazilian butt though which people spend a small fortune for Seems like guys are either more fond of the round ass or the large breasts, it's rather funny to see the split divide.

I'm thinking of booking a consultation to see if I do want to go with it, and then take a final decision then. I would definetly have to put the breasts under the muscles as I have no fat in my upper body. I have very naturally toned arms and shoulders, so they would probably end up looking like that if I didn't.

I'm totally pro PS btw, so I will add my only other comment is to do your research - on your doc, his reputation, any law suits or board sanctions, patient reviews, etc., and that I don't think PS is something you should ever look to save $$$ on. I've seen some real horror shows when women try to save some money (even a few grand).

I would also recommend consulting with 2-3 docs.

Yeah the guy I want to book a consultation is the most renowned and expensive person in the city. I feel that it's important that he has good bedside manners especially when it comes to seeing you naked. He has good reviews too.

The same exact thing happened to my mom after her 2nd pregnancy. She hadn't breastfed with me but did with my younger sister. She had been a small B cup but went to under an A cup after she stopped breastfeeding. She ended up getting implants to go "back to her B" and you would never know. It's only when people get huge ones that mismatch their body to the point of looking foolish, that they stand out.

If you decide to do this and are worrying about people noticing, transition into it by wearing padded bras that add a cup size long before the procedure. That way people will be used to seeing you be that shape again and not question it.

The hardest part about hiding it will be explaining the time out of work needed for recovery. If you say "surgery" people get nosey. Give minimal information and just say "medical procedure" and only to the one you have to answer to in the work hierarchy.

Yeah I don't think it should be a big issue with my boss. He lets me do my own thing, jokes around, and he even gave me chocolate for my birthday - pretty laid back.

I just have to be careful with the type of leave I'm allowed to take ex: if I can take sick leave or not according to the collective convention at work.

I just am not sure how to find out without asking him too explicitly.

Seems like the surgery recovery time is only a week or so.

I bet there is a lot of info online from people that have done the same thing. See if there is a clause about "elective" surgery. Also instead of your boss, if you have an HR department in your company the person to talk to about this would probably be an HR rep. They have to keep your info confidential. But do a lot of independent research first. If you go on a consultation you may even ask the surgeon because I bet this question comes up all the time and they can tell you what past patients have done.

Have you looked into breast augmentation through fat transfer? It's like they liposuction one part of your body and transfer the fat to the breasts for a much more natural look, which could be especially good since you have a thin upper body. I don't know anything about it other than that it exists, but it could be something to look into.

I haven't looked at that. I had heard it did not work particular well as the fat dissolved after a short period of time. As it's pretty much an invasive procedure, I would not want to get this done repetitively. I am not fond of surgeries.

I've also heard that if you get fat removed in a section of your body that the fat regrowth can be unpredictable. That may just be myth talk though.
