I have no idea why these movies keep glorifying friends with benefits and buddies. I Read this blog about the film and he shares his personal experience with having a friend with "benefits." I totally related...but I'm still so hurt over my friends with benefit experience. I loved him so much.

Every FWB I've ever heard of seldom (if ever) turned out to work in everyone's favor. What typically happens is that one or the other ends up developing stronger feelings in the long run.

It's mostly because the majority of us.. once we have sex we get attached. I see it all over ENA.. not even fwb's but just a one time thing even - the girl doesn't like the guy, sleeps with him, and suddenly is attached.

i felt similar about those movies coming out , knowing full well I would probably be hurt I ended up trying to have a fwb situation but I had more feelings for him and I couldn't handle the silent pauses between "intimate time" ... I thought I was being the "cool girl" by doing it but I was fooling myself when I would feel hurt afterwards

 

Everytime i see trailers I just shake my head and chuckle rarely do movie romance movies translate well in real life.
