BayBay
My boyfriend and I have been dating for two years now. We're currently in a long distance relationship. We've met a number of times in the past two years and we've been the PERFECT couple up to now. For some reason he doesn't want to talk. He says it's because he is 'awkward' and can't keep a good conversation going. Also, that he can't express himself well. That doesn't make any since to me because if any of that was true, I wouldn't have fallen for him. I honestly have no idea what to do. I have thought about breaking up but, every time I ask him if he thinks we do he says no. Whenever I try to break up with him he pours his heart out and tells me how much he loves me. I hate it. He's so much different when he's with me than when he's back at home. I honestly just don't know what to do anymore. I really need help. I'm loosing my mind.. Link to comment
chelzee
Hi BayBay...I'd be pretty confused at his behavior too. If I were you, I would ask him how he expects to continue a relationship if he can't carry on a good conversation because he claims he's awkward and can't express himself. What i've learned throughout my relationships is that actions speak louder than words...literally. If he isn't willing to put forth any effort at all into the relationship, let alone have a conversation with you about your future (and you deserve to have some sort of clarification in my opinon) then I would be thinking twice about where you two are at.
