JLKLEE
I will be graduating at the beginning of August with a Bachelors in Art: Communication-Public and Interpersonal. Would it be too soon to apply for jobs that require a B.A.?? I do not want to ruin my chances applying prematurely. Link to comment
FathomFear
Beginning of August is only a month away. That is not "early" by any stretch of the imagination, so I wouldn't worry. Link to comment
JLKLEE
How do you go about telling them you have a vacation planned the 2nd week in August. Link to comment
MissIndigo
How do you go about telling them you have a vacation planned the 2nd week in August. You don't. They don't need to know that. Any company interested in you will ask when you are available for an interview and you can give them another range of dates. Link to comment
catfeeder
If a company makes you an offer before your vacation, just negotiate your start date after your return. No need to discuss it before then--it's not relevant to anyone who doesn't make an offer. You're also not premature. As long as you list your graduation date with the correct year, then you're not claiming to already have walked. Fingers crossed for you. Link to comment
Weeb
Just put something like "anticipated August 2011" as when your received your B.A. on your resume. That's usually accepted. Don't worry about the start date either, just say you can't start until the third week of August (or September or whatever) if they ask when you can start. Link to comment
