Not feeling great today. Brief background – went out for 6 months, I got dumped. I went NC and a month later she starts texting saying she misses me etc. I handle it well and say I don’t want to speak to her unless she wants to work on things. One or two texts then over the next couple of days, same pattern of her missing me, me saying lets meet up and discuss things and her reply is she doesn’t think it’s a good idea when we are trying to get over each other. That’s fine by me so I ask her again not to contact me. Another week of NC goes by.

Last Friday (my birthday) I get a text from her wishing me a happy birthday and hope I have a good one. Didn’t reply, didn’t think it justified a response. Thought I was moving on quite well but today just not feeling great! Could be just the Monday blues I suppose.

Probably one of the best applications of NC I've read about. You have your goals and aren't settling for less. Obviously the "I miss you" texts are breadcrumbs and she isn't sure you're what she wants. Wish I had your strength of will.
