Batya33
This might be a good time to be more flexible about going out when you have your period. It seems like a shame to miss out on a lovely picnic just because you have your period (unless you're one of those women who gets really sick during her period -that's a different story!). I probably would not mess around with the pills if you are sexually active (even though you likely won't have sex during your period). Link to comment
KatAstrophy1607308539
Probably too late now, but you can get pills from you GP which you take three days before your period is due and your period will show up three days after you stop taking the pills. I got given them when I was going on holiday a few years back. I just explained that I didn't want them to mess up my holiday! Link to comment
MyNinja
Yeah, it seems too late now that the date is very close. It might start tomorrow. If you stress it will surely be irregular. If you do start on Monday use high absorbency tampons (depending on your flow for the first couple days) so you don't have to worry about finding somewhere to change them. They should last at least 5 to 7 hours depending on your flow (if you're not too heavy in the very beginning). Parks usually have a bathroom so it shouldn't be too much of a concern, unless it's not an actual "park" but just some land and a few trees. Link to comment
jazzy90
I'm not sexual active..the dr prescribed me the pill because i was having heavy periods and they were lasting for up to 15 days and she gave me those pills to stop it..and i was thinking if my period started on Monday if I should take that pill? I don't think its an birth control but i just know the pill can either start or stop periods.. This might be a good time to be more flexible about going out when you have your period.
