Does this mean we are official?

Been seeing a guy for nearly 2 months, last week we were talking about whether we were seeing other people and he said he wasn't and doesn't intend to. I said the same in response, so does this mean we are official as in exclusive/girlfriend - boyfriend. At the beginning its difficult to work out when it goes from casual to official...opinions please

I think it means you are exclusive....not seeing other people. Unfortuantely that doesn't mean the lable bf/gf applies so if you want to know just ask him. That's the only way to know for sure.

Everyone's opinions on these things differ...hell, there are married people out there who find excuses to justify seeing and sleeping with other people when caught cheating. For me, what you guys discussed would entail official bf-gf but I've known people who were exclusively seeing someone who they did not consider long term material and intended to leave if someone better came along. Only one thing to do in these situations and ask your guy exactly what you asked us.

Communication is key to any successful relationship and if you can't talk about this important topic, then where is it going to go?

 

Say, "I just want to clarify our last conversation. We're exclusive and we will not be seeing anyone else for as long as we're together, is that right?"

Before we said this I asked if what we had was just a fling to which he responded with he thought we were chillin and having fun etc and seeing each other in that way, I said yeah sure and said does that mean we see/date other people, he then said he wasn't and doesn't intend to and thought I was doing the same, I then said yes.
