Is she playing games?

I met a girl through friends a few years ago and even though she no longer speaks to my friends we still speak daily, most of the time one or two txt's a day. She lives a couple of hours away from me so we only see each other every couple of months. The last time we met we got a little closer, snuggling up etc which was the first time we did that and since then shes been a little more distant with me in regards to replying to my texts even tho she texts me first! I know some girls play the text game but the way she does it is pretty weird! for example she texted me yesterday telling me she burnt her self sunbathing and sent me a picture of it (the chest area) and then today i got a text with a picture of her 'fly bite' on her leg just saying 'ill send you a proper message later' and i know she wont text till tomorrow or the next day. To be honest im confused. Is she playing games with me? does she want me to start chasing her? Weve not actually spoken about our feelings properly but you wouldnt text someone daily if you didnt think much of them would you? What should i do?

Texting you daily means she is thinking about you. I wouldn't conclude that she is playing games with you. The fact that she lives a couple of hours away might be the dividing line here between you two speaking about your feelings. I think she enjoys you and your company and knows there would be possibilities if you lived closer. She doesn't want to tell you this for fear of you moving closer because of her, then it maybe it not working out.....she would feel responsible. Moving closer would need to be your decision with no direct influence from her.
