Anyone else here have hidradenitis suppurativa (HS)?

I have HS and I was wondering if there was anyone else on here that has it.

Well, the person is me. It's pretty bad, my Dad has it too - genetic I think. Hard when it can't really be treated. I tried MooGoo, and it seemed to help ([link removed.au[/url]). I used the oil cleanser at first and then moved onto the soothing cream and moisturiser. It doesn't cure it, but it kinda prevents the formation of new lumps and the re-inflammation of old ones. My condition has improved since using MooGoo, but I'm not sure if it would work for everyone.

 

Don't worry - you're not alone! It can be painful and embarrassing, I know. It takes me so long to get naked in front of guys, if I get the chance, and even then I never turn around.

 

I've been engaged three times though, so it's not as if it's stopping me doing anything like that... I just worry because I know there are perfect looking girls out there, with lily-white skin and beautiful complexions. It's depressing. Why choose me when you can have that? Especially if the guy is doing you from behind.
