xoxevanescencexox Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 So I have this AMAZING bestfriend! We use to do everything together, days on end. Then she met this guy at the end of Feb && there still together till this day. He try's to get me out of the picture and I try to tell her but everytime I try to talk to her she tells me "I don't want to hear it" he moved in with her right from the start. When we try to chill he calls her to see where she's at, I never get to see her anymore because of him. I honestly try but I give up because there both deeply in love. I have had some awful stuff happen this week and I txted her but no reply besides "Whats Wrong" and that's it. My moms sick with cancer and I need her more then anything but she's never there. But when it's convent for her I'm aloud back in her life for a few mins so she can talk to me about her issues and then I'm no good. What should I do? Someone plz help me!
Mustachio Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Well unfortunately there isnt much you can really do at the moment. Confide in other friends who will be there for you at the moment. As I have observed with myself and my friends, it seems everyone goes through periods like this where a relationship takes precedence over friends and maybe even family. Usually it passes, but in the meantime, you can let her know you really need some support right now. Beyond that, all you can really do is respect the path she has chosen and decide if this friendship is worth continuing.

Other than that, I wish I could offer more advice with this one friend. If you two are really so close as you say, then sit her down and talk to her, dont try to pull her away from her boyfriend but just let her know that you really need someone to talk to right now.

It's like her boyfriend is her priority && I'm jst her option. I need her more then anything because my mom is deadly sick with cancer but she never responds back to me no matter what "(
