nasdaq
My boobs have been really sore lately. At first I didn't think anything of it, but then I mentioned it to my mom and she asked if I was pregnant. I said no, but now I'm getting scared that I might be. I had sex a little over 2 weeks ago, and we didn't use a condom (i know, irresponsible, but they ran out and it was in the middle of the night and blehhh) but he pulled out waay before he was going to cum and I had to finish him off in other ways. But my boobs are sore and lately I've been moody. My period is next week, and they put me on a new birth control that they said was the exact same as the one I've been taking. I took a pregnancy test because I'm paranoid and it said no, but I don't know if it's too early. Am I just getting freaked out over nothing? Link to comment
whysoalone
Too early for a test, you'll have to wait until your period. And i'm going to assume you failed sex-ed LOL. Pulling out and wacking him off doesn't mean you don't run the risk of getting pregnant! I get to say the word penis! The penis doesn't just cum when you reach orgasm, there is such a thing as pre-cum! Then again, if you've been taking your birth control correctly you should have little problems. You'll have to wait the week out love and see if you get your period. Link to comment
genevive59
I would not be that worried if I were you, as long as you have been taking the birth control daily there shouldnt be any problems. My boobs get sore closer to my period and it could just be a side effect of your new birth control. You shouldn't panic until your period is late probably Link to comment
whysoalone
I will say though (And excuse the sexism LOL) it's funny to see females say they're acting moody when they're either A) Pregnant or B) Period. I always thought females were always moody Ah well, can tell why I'm newly single! Link to comment
OptomisticGirl
You do realize pre cum doesn't just come out right before he chums, right? That it comes out at any given time and contains sperm? When did they put you on a new BC? If it's less than a month ago you may well be because you are suppose to wait a month for the news BC to get in your system before having unprotected sex. Nearbot
My boobs get really sore starting around a week before my period. And I definitely get moody You'll just have to wait and see if it comes. Link to comment
nasdaq
Yes, I do understand that some pre-cum can contain sperm, which is why I am concerned even though I have been taking my BC correctly. Although unfortunately that wasn't something that we thought about at the time. I started my new birth control about two weeks before we had sex. The pharmacy gave me the new brand, though they claimed it was 'the same thing'. It is just the generic version of the BC that I had been using previously, not sure if that makes a difference or not. OptomisticGirl
I would call your doctor and ask if it makes a difference. If it's the same thing, even though it's generic you should be fine but if it's different, you hadn't been taking it long enough really. Link to comment
nasdaq
Yeah, its the generic version of Yaz. My period is due this upcoming Saturday, and I've been spotting. I'm not sure if this is implantation bleeding or just normal spotting. I'm sure I'm reading too much into this but who knows. If I'm being ridiculous please let me know, I have a tendency to build upon things and psych myself out. Link to comment
OptomisticGirl
As long as the BC is the same (although a generic version) you should be fine. Only way to fully know though would be to have a blood test done. Link to comment
Batya33
Some tests work before your period is due so if you're concerned why not check that out. Good luck. Link to comment
