annony
I'm looking at buying a house. One just came up that is in the neighbourhood I want, in my budget, turn key, one more bedroom then I thought I'd be able to afford... it's perfect, except it shares a wall with a guy I used to date.... thoughts? guynextdoor
How long ago did you date him? Are you guys still friends? Do you still have feelings for him? How comfortable with the fact he will be your neighbor? Link to comment
annie24
I would move in. Sounds like a good place. I would probably very quickly get over him. I also wonder how long you dated, etc... Link to comment
annony
We didn't date long, and we didn't date exclusively. The thing is, we never bothered to "break up" we just stopped talking to each other. Link to comment
Blue Skittles
If you really like the place then move in! Link to comment
annie24
Given those circumstances, I would move in. It really wasn't serious. I wouldn't let this non-serious relationship stop you from your dream home. but do give some thought - if you saw him bringing home a woman, how would you feel? you might want to mentally prepare yourself for that scenario. Ariel85
It obviously bothers you enough that you needed to post about it. If he meant nothing, it would be a non-issue. What say you? Link to comment
