Chestpains
Hi all, I and my ex had a 4 year relationship and for the most part it was wonderful. We had a mutual break up which I do agree with, there was a time when I wanted to get her back (after around 2-3 months apart) but I didn't do anything about it. She also has a new boyfriend now. Here's the thing. I don't want my ex back we need time apart, she changed at the end of our relationship and we just weren't compatible any longer. I am still love with the person she used to be and I still get butterflies when a memory pops up. But that's not who she is now, and I accepted that months ago. But could I still be in love with the memory of her, before she changed? Is this normal? Link to comment
ForumGuy
This is sometimes called being "nostalgiac" and is very normal. Link to comment
Meriem
Yeah! It's very normal don't worry about it, but you have to remember it doesn't matter what/who she was in the past it is what it is NOW and now is the most important time... Link to comment
