ArtOfPartying
That's basically a nice way of saying "man boobs", for those unfamiliar with the term. Anyway, how do you go about getting rid of them? I've had them for as long as I can remember, and it really bothers me. Admittedly, I don't do a lot of exercise, and I don't particularly watch what I eat, but I'm not overweight, or anything. Actually, I've looked up healthy weight levels for people my age, height, etc., and from what I can tell, I'm right about at the healthy weight level I should be. I suppose at most, I could stand to lose maybe 5-10 pounds, but I've been 5-10 pounds lighter in the past, and I still looked the same. Honestly, I'm okay with having more of a belly, rather than abs, but the man boobs are really killing me. And maybe it's just my imagination, but I almost feel like mine are "pointier" and stick out more than the average "man boobs" on a husky guy. Dunno. Link to comment
CatsMeeoow
While obesity can contribute greatly to this condition I think it can be hereditary. Eating right exercise can help but may not eliminate... then of course there is surgery. Link to comment
agent1607307371
Gynaecomastia is the overdevelopment in men of the mammary gland. They're not the moobs brought on by having too much body fat. Do you know what your body fat % is? Link to comment
ran81
I actually had it once, but only on one side. I wasn't overweight at all, perfectly fit and worked out alot. I had minor surgery to get rid of it. In and out of the hospital in no time. Link to comment

Do you know what your body fat % is? Nah, I don't really know how to figure any of that out, or anything like that. I actually had it once, but only on one side. I wasn't overweight at all, perfectly fit and worked out alot. I had minor surgery to get rid of it. In and out of the hospital in no time. Surgery would probably be the easiest way to get rid of them, yeah, but I'm under the assumption that I can't afford it. I only have a part time job (barely making more than minimum wage) while attending college full time, so I can't imagine I have the funds to pursue any kind of surgical options. Link to comment
tiredofvampires
This is going to take a rather presumptuous leap, so I hope you don't mind -- but your username is suggestive of the fact that you might be drinking a lot of beer. Beer contains hops, which is a plant substance that contains significant estrogen-like compounds. Estrogenic plant derivatives that end up in beer will stimulate breast tissue, and it doesn't matter what sex you are. So if you're drinking beer, you should stop that and see if that, plus a lot of upper body strengthening (to firm the muscle underneath) won't get rid of the problem. Link to comment

I, myself, don't do a lot of drinking and/ or partying (in fact, I almost never drink). Link to comment
