toofaced12
It's crazy how one set back can just put you way back in the healing process. I was doing so well too, and I am disappointed in myself because I got so far, then decided to meet him after he asked me to. Maybe I thought I could handle it? Well can't change what happened now, I guess only way to move forward is not talking again. I still want to get back together with him, I think hope just got the better of me and that's why i'm feeling like this... again. Link to comment
jt214
yeah...going through something similar. it is so unfair how one little thing can set you back so much. if you haven't already definitely stop talking to him. if you know there's no hope in getting back together, then keep contact will only set you back more. feel free to pm me if you need someone to talk to Link to comment
whysoalone
Sometimes we always just hope, that's all we really have left when we want someone back. Maybe meeting him for lunch was a big mistake, but as you said, the hope got the better of you. You can't blame yourself for that, 99% of people in your position would have done the same thing. At least you know what is happening now, and that nothing is going to change if you meet up with him for lunch or coffee. It's time to move on young one! Link to comment
toofaced12
Aw, sorry to hear your going through a similar thing jt2214, and I am definitely starting up no contact again, for a looooong time. Time to move on is right! Lesson learned though. Every thing that happens is an experience for me, I've never gone through a break up, so i dunno what i'm doing haha. Link to comment
