whats going on here with the exbf

Recommended Posts

the other day I was sat behind my ex in lectures, and I noticed that when he logged on to fb my fb chat tab was up - but I Haven't spoken to him on this for about 2 months. there were no other tabs there. therefore he must have had this tab up for a long while during study leave/ had it up the night before lectures and left it there.

I found it a bit weird- as he broke up with me and goes out of his way to avoid/ ignore me, yet that was there- what's going on?

Its been a year now.

If i ever try and talk to him on chat / or in real life he just goes all awkward and tried to run away asap, short answers, unemotive and cold. But he incessantly watches me from accross rooms and I see him looking for me in crowds to orient himself to face me, like he always wants to know where I am

please someone help me with this- what's going on in his head...

thank you x

From what you have said it's very possible that he might want you back, he might miss you that could explain your tab being on his facebook chat and the reason as to why he is always looking at you. Maybe he doesn't know the right way to go about getting you back. Also, he might regret breaking up with you maybe he has a guilty conscious. There could be lots of reasons, but maybe you should sit down and have a talk with him about this. I know he acts awkward and uncomfortable around you but if you very lightly just bring up the topic and make him feel comfortable maybe you might get an answer x

thanks for your reply Loriana - I tried to get him to talk to me a few months after the break up occurred, but he refused and started avoiding me more extreamely.....

He told a mutual friend (about 4 months after the break up) that he was finding it "much harder than he thought to be friends" with me... this mutual friend then became my current boyfriend.

My ex will still talk to him, but only if he is in a group conversation with him, or if my Bf approaches him... he never seems to seek him out anymore.

I decided to give up approaching my ex a couple of months back, because everytime he rejected me/ was cold with me it hurt, since doing this he's started watching me more and more, still not daring to speak to me, going quiet and serious looking if I ever HAVE to talk to him... its hard work!!

Hes the reserved type, though he's thrown himself into social life more, drinks more, has changed his appearance, really really concentrates on his hobby now... he even had an apparent one night stand with a random girl (who had the same accent and looked similar to me ) though no one knows if anything happened, as he took her home but none of his house mates saw her in the morning / hear anything etc...

we go to the same uni... same course.. same campus,so see one another everyday....

any more advice/ opinions people? x
