What is normal post breakup behavior? Why is he coming into my workplace?

I went NC with my ex about 5 months ago when I found out he got a new girlfriend. Well about 3 months ago he started coming into my work. He never shopped there before, didn't like shopping there, but now decides to? First he started coming in only when I'm not there and with his new girl, my coworkers would tell me about it later. Then he started coming in alone when I was there, and we talked a little, just casual (really caused a set back in my recovery). He has come in with me there a handful of times. One of those times he came in with her! What a douche move! Just wanted to hear some opinions as to why he's doing this? I noticed guys tend to avoid the girls at all costs, but I guess it just depends on the situation. Any thoughts? Thanks!

he is trying to keep something going incase he and his new shiny toy dont shine for long..sorry im bit bitter to night but from a dumb guy point of view kinda what it sounds like...or he is looking for your aproval of her in some way...like reba and barbara jean

If you don't want him coming in anymore, just tell him that. Tell him it's probably best he does not come in anymore. Be firm!

 

Your right. All it does is set you back in the recovery process, and he's just rubbing the new girl in your face.

Your ex is being a jerk and trying to push your buttons by doing those childish things. If I were you, the next time he comes in to your work, go up to him and ask him straight up why he is doing those things.

 

If he brings her in, go up to them and tell her that he is your ex and let her know that he never liked going to your work before and he is bringing you in to rub it in your face. Put her on the spot ...lol
