questions about match site

I have two questions for those familiar with using link removed.

 

a) how would you feel if someone was interested in you without any profile pics but when they contacted you, they attached photos? Would it raise any questions in your mind?

 

b) Does match ever send physical mail like ads or letters to the address you use to subscribe? I'd prefer to keep the online dating stuff personal and away from my housemates.

a) I really dislike when there is no profile pic, makes me wonder what the person is hiding.

 

b) Yes they send e-mail messages, I'm not sure if you can opt out of them or not.
