I am developing a complex here...... People visit my profile but......

I am on OKC and I see people visiting me but they never say anything. I am started to develop quite a complex Am I too ugly?? Why do people visit my profile but never say one word is this common??

I don't know, are you ugly? Sadly lots of people will do that, a profile picture will catch their eye and they'll click on it, wanting to gawk or make fun of it. But yes I guess it all depends on how long you've been on the website, it's pretty normal to get a lot of browsing traffic that doesn't message. But if you have an effective profile, you probably should have gotten at least a message by now if you've been on there for a long time. If not, something from your profile or pictures is probably turning people away, or they just aren't interested enough to pursue. It's not all about pictures, if your profile is boring, or obnoxious, or pessimistic, that could all do it too.

If it was your photo, then people wouldn't even click. Maybe some peopel do click on a profile to make fun of it, but I don't think many people would to be honest, because there are so many profiles - I would only ever click ones which I liked the look of. Therefore, I think it must be something written in the profile. The most common things which would put me off are - misspellings (I mean text speak, not the odd error which we can all make), someone who is too demanding ("I'm picky, and I'm looking for a, b, c, d, e, f....), and even more mundanely, just someone who doesn't seem like they have any interests in common with me. Personally, I am also put off when someone has children too.

This is the funny part..... I decided for fun to put casual sex and I like having fun and guess how many hits I got?? Aloooooot. Goes to show you how many guys on that site are pervs lol. I took that down and went to my boring self. I am not very good at making profiles. So maybe it's not the pictures that is turning people away it is because I am too boring but when I turn into fun and casual sex people message me all the time. How weird is that?

Ive been on OKC for a month and I noticed if people do the quickmatch option (just the rating portion) on your phone app, it doesnt give you an option to message. Tons of people always browse through profiles using quickmatch.

Heh I totally didn't know that. Learn something new everyday but I do find it interesting when you put down casual sex and you like having fun you get alooooooot of hits.

I have tried RSVP, Match and eHarmony. RSVP sent me girls from the four corners ... ROFL. Match well.. yep people winking at me is oh so interesting. As for eHarmony... 'cant do this without parting with an arm and perhaps a leg'.
