AloneAgain19
I'm literally sitting in my room at my small college, I told my ex I cant talk to her anymore after seeing my therapist who told me it was the only way I would heal correctly. She had sex with a guy she was texting from work while we were dating 1 month after we broke up (15 month relationship), she was my first love, we took each others virginity, and I honestly thought she ran off a totally different moral code. She has already tried to get back together with me twice since then because she regrets what she did and all that, but im sorry thats just too messed up...plus, im leaving here in 6 or 7 months for arizona That aside, the last few weeks I've been on the hunt for a good looking smart girl...anyone got some magical places I can meet one of these!! At least someone to take on a date! Im good looking, I go to the gym 6 days a week, I get hit on at parties and crap, but seriously, I find myself talking to women in the school hot tub who pretty much talk about "Oh, yea im a total pothead" or "Oh remember how f-d up I was on ecstasy last weekend?" I drink, and smoke weed occasionally so of course I have my own substance vices but seriously... I like women with an opinion, a brain, and preferably not a giant black angel tattooed on their side with braces only on their bottom teeth who says "Like" every 3 words and wants to talk about how she got carted off in an ambulance for alcohol poisoning the day before. (Yea...another girl from the hot tub...). Or one of the girls who's cute..but nothing too special, but she hits me AND my best buddy up at the same time on facebook to try and get either one of us to her room...lol So preferably one without deep rooted emotional problems too who needs to go out and have sex with someone to feel liked again for 5 minutes... Had one of those, I didnt like it so much I guess this is more of an expression of annoyance. I wish I could find someone attractive enough and cool enough to have random sex with like my ex did (just kidding) but at least someone worth talking to. Is there an ebay for women I dont know about?
In the Dark
Good luck. If they are conventionally attractive the chances are they have been in a relationship and have had things to reflect on which may be looked at as emotional problems. I am cetain you are not kidding about the random sex thing But that always ends up in awkwardness die to someone ending u having feelings. In my experience, it's like a roll of the dice as to what comes up on offer. Who is interested in you can never really be predicted. Only tings which come in to play is your socializing. The more you socialize with different groups the higher the chances of meeting someone who is interested in you. Whether they are right for you is another matter but still increases the chances of finding someone right for you.
TidalWave
One of the ways to search for a 'specific-bunch-of-qualities' girl, is to look at jobs that match such qualities. E.g. you can't expect a full time waitress to be clever, or as clever as psychiatrist would be. You should know exactly how much cleverness you want. You want someone confident and strong, then you should look at leading positions like managers or lawyers. Et cetera. Because in a lot of cases, people's qualities are reflected in things they do, or if you like, the jobs they have. Sure it's not the perfect way to find your match, but no way is perfect. Maybe a drunk girl in a bar will fall in love with you the moment she sees you and she'll turn out to be successful young good looking businesswoman ... ok I'm fantasizing again. So back to what I said in the first paragraph. ;-)

It's ok, she can do whatever she wants for the next 2 months while I lift my butt off in the gym cus me and the crew are going to SWAT spring break at Havasu hahaha... I'm gonna make her look like a saint. LOL
caughtinabadon
lol im in socal too, you are going to arizona, whats the rush? you want a long term relationship?! are you going to asu? haha prepare to be bombarded with party girls if so. I met my current gf in a organization on campus (I go to a UC) and she is smart, not a party animal, and over all a perfect match. I also hit the gym as much as I can, brother is a personal trainer, I have low bodyfat, 6ft, built, can pull a decent number of chicks myself but im telling you if you want a quality girl, definitely get involved in clubs and orgs on campus that interest you and they will come to you!! You will find someone with similar interests/majors and life goals. Who knows, that could be your future wife... good luck socal bruh
bulletproof
Are you honestly surprised that you are only meeting party girls in a hot tub? There is so much to do at college. What are you involved in? Try joining a co-ed sport or the newspaper or any group that does something you enjoy. You have to be the person you want to date, so if you don't want a girl who parties and makes poor conversation, make sure that you are doing things in your life that show your intelligence, too. Spacecapsule
Become friends with bulletproof as his only surrounds himself with non-judgmental people with big hearts and loving attitudes. That is the only way you EVER have another chance of finding another good looking smart girl.
rocio
I'm still trying to figure out what tattoes, braces and waitressing have to do with brains. Maybe it's because you're pre-judging women based on the wrong criteria that you're missing all the good ones? There are, like, plenty of smart women out there. Probably one serving up coffee at your local greasy spoon.

I suspect you are upset that I said at age 25 we should all sort of grown out of the whole giving our friends grief if their s.o. isn't good-looking enough? That is not personal, it's just my opinion. Sorry if it hit a button for you.

That is not personal, it's just my opinion. Sorry if it hit a button for you. Well, I crossed the line in what I said. The point I should have made is I do not believe, no matter how old we are, that people grow out of this sort of judging attitude. Is it right? Absolutely not, I tend to start everyone at 100% it is up to them to erode my trust or opinion of them. To validate my point you should work where I did the past two years and listen to what some men in their late 40s to early 50s say. Again, I am sorry for the slam. rocio
I have a tattoo. I also have a Master's degree and a successful career. Tattoes may be a turn-off for you, but they're not an indicator of intelligence.

No, just personality...and it's a trait I'm not looking for...if anything, I'm looking for the type who start looking into removal by the time they hit 30 or 40... Full sleeves, though...Um, no... In the Dark
I like tattoos on females, so it's a matter of what floats your boat. Yet another one of those things I find attractive on women but may not be for others. But if they don't, it doesn't make any difference. Persoinal tastes. Lonewing
I just can't understand why someone would go mar what is already a beautiful surface..but that's just me... I'm perfectly ok with henna and bodypaint, though.

I am going to side with lonewing on this one. There is nothing in this world more beautiful than woman's body. That beautiful work of art should not be defiled at all. Also, as a note to guys with barbed wire tattoos or those little swirl designs around there arms... I am not intimidated by that.

I'm perfectly ok with henna and bodypaint, though. It's a personal form of expressionism in one way or another. SOme do it because they find beauty in it. Some do it to represent something......a time in their life, a loved one.... Sure there are some which are just plan distasteful, the Zig Zag man, Mortal Kombat, Ford, Holden, pot leaf to name a few. Just like Popeye and his anchor tattoos. I highly doubt they are done to intimidate you or anyone else.
greywolf
There are plenty of smart girls at college. If you want to find them, you have to go to where there are.
