Its so hard to ask her out to a date :)

Hi everyone, it's my first post here but I have been following this forum here and there while trying to get over my ex 2 years ago Now I'm really into this one girl and need your advices. She's 18, and I'm 22.

 

The first time, I met her at an icecream shop, there're some eye contacts and in the end I managed to get her phone number. She asked if I don't have a girlfriend now and I said no I dont, asked the same thing to her and she said no too. She was giving out samples to ppl passing by so I managed to make her laugh by inviting ppl to try out the samples then leave.

 

Since that time, for a bout 3 weeks, we had been texting back and forth and I asked her out to see a movie twice, she always said yes/next week and that she really wanted/planned to see that particular movie. But in the end, it never comes down to an exact time confirmation, she said always busy with work and will let me know tomorrow or somthing and often just ignored/forgot about it I guess as we just barely knew each other and maybe she's testing or playing game, plus I really like her so I ddidn't react, just keep texting here and there and asking random questions. Also sometimes she reply with a vrry long message, I popped into the shop just to see and talk to her a little bit (at most 2 times a week), If I don't see her I'd ask the other servers when she will work again. Basically, it may sound creepy to you guys, but I try to balance and make it as much light-heart as possible.

 

I texted her and asked her out to a chinese new year fest, she said via text that she's very excited and she really wanted to go to this fest. So I waited, and the same thing happened. I just went to the fest with my friends and I won a teddybear there. The day after that, for some reason, our texting relationships escalated and she's more responsive to my texts and I can feel her efforts in the text much more. She even asked me what time i finish work so we can have a coffee but i said i was busy. That night, I brought the bear to her shop, her boss's there so we couldn't talk so she told me to wait for her break then we talked for 30 mins (is this counted as a first date? lol). I gave her the bear and she's very surprised and happy, she figured out that I still went to the fest.

 

She asked me to go clubbing with her. I waited till last day and confirm but it turn out that shes the club promoter there. She was busy anf could talk much. So i went out to smoking area an hit on some girls with my friend. When we got back inside, i saw her dancing and i asked if she want a drink, i hold her hand and took her to thr bar but realized that i got no cash left.. Lol, so my fried went withdraw cash for mr, she just went bavk to dance. I bought a nice cocktail but shes with another boy and her friend came to the bar, she were a bit flirty eith him amd drunk but my gut feeling also told me that she was aware of me. I gave her the drink and tolf her i gotta leave, and ask her friend to take good carw of her.

 

Thats pretty much it. Any advices on the case and how I should maintain the communication in the future d be very appreciated.also is it a good time to do NC now?

Hey mate, you're doing good.

 

Hold out for a day or two to see if she initates something. If yes, be the same you - lighthearted and chill. If not, be the same you and initiate a conversation (msg/phone) after a day or two.

 

Be chilled out about this... the way you have described it, it seems like you two have a good vibe between yourselves... thats good.. thats how things go down.

 

Go in 2 steps forward, take one back, go forward 2 steps again etc... thats the pace of things.
