wsim
Recently, I have been trying to make new friends and expand social network through the online route, as I need to meet people outside of my usual friends (Have my reasons). This is not something that I have really done before, but not having any luck otherwise. Anyways, I've been exchanging emails with this girl through craigslist for about a week now... she responds to my emails the following day on average and the conversation has been light, some humor and have a few common interests here and there. Do you think asking casually to hangout is too sudden at this point or is it okay? From the tone of her emails, it seems that she should be cool with that. I'm not too familiar with this, so wanted some advice or suggestions. I am hoping to make more friends and perhaps find my way into some new social groups, as part of my efforts to get new dating targets if things work out. I need others to hangout with, since most of my friends have drifted apart, busy with life/relationships and being single, need to get out much more. SapphireNoir10
Yeah just ask her to meet at a public place. I dont see an issue.
catfeeder
I'd ask for a quick meetup over coffee, not a whole date. This will let you check one another out, and if you want to ask for a real date after that, go for it. Otherwise, just move on to the next prospect.
