Even when I'm completely smitten with a guy and we've been dating for months, I prefer to talk on the phone every other day or so, though I do think on the off days there should be text/email/IM or some less involved method of communication just out of respect. And yes, I have had past relationships that lasted for years and they functioned just like this. So no, him not calling you every day after 3 dates doesn't mean he doesn't like you. Link to comment
