son1
So I was approached by someone that's currently in this MLM business. I'm not sure where to start and maybe this has been a huge stress on my marriage...I don't know. You see I joined this business thinking I could start something on the side making a little money here and there and little did I know I was about to be burned because I did every step they told me to do. I trusted them because I knew them. I'm not sure if any of you have any familiar with these businesses but some seem to be ligit but others seem to just be plain scum. They wanted me to go to the weekly meetings, once a month go to these big seminars, and quarterly go to these huge conventions held in big cities where the top people would explain their business strategies, show the prize once you reach the next level and at the same time being inspirational to the new comers into the business. "you're doing a great job, just keep doing what you're doing!" Now, I certainly know I will no longer be associated with any kind of business like this but I wanted to let you know to careful. Thanks. Link to comment

You also should investigate in detail what the opportunity entails, whether it's a sales type of job (often times it is with MLM), cold-calling, if any sizable startup capital is required, etc. There's no quick get rich scheme or so-called "Make $500 a day" offer without putting hard work. If it sounds too good to be true it usually is... Link to comment
