Upperbody or Lowerbody

Ahahahaha, I dont mean that muscular. He is an OL bodybuilder, I'm saying for the average guy.

My answer would still be the same, for the same reason - I really can't stand the big muscle look, at all. It usually makes the guy look out of proportion (like in your avatar) - too much on top, or too much on the bottom, it just doesn't work for me - all yuck, lol.

Im sure you ladies like a little bit of tone and definition in muscles. Not necessarily well defined but at least SOME. Give the OP a straight answer, none of this 'neither' stuff. LOL

Anyways, me being a male, I rather have toned upper body than lower body. And toned..not bulky, built or ripped. Just toned.

I don't like the overly muscled look either. I much prefer tall, lanky, toned guys then a muscular one.

But if I had to choose, I would prefer more muscles up top (the abs are included in the "upper body" division, right? From my perspective I'm more likely to see his upper half (on the beach, if he's mowing the lawn, etc) and while I obviously want his legs to be strong as well and for his body to be in proportion, the upper half is what I'm most likely to see first and more often.

Thank you for a "straight-forward' reply. haha

You probably aren't going to get a lot of straight answers. The word "muscles" scares women off for some reason. But I think it's safe to say that most women can appreciate a muscled upper body more. Hence why you see so many guys skip out on leg day.

abs arms shoulders and back must be the standard wish-list, though athletic legs are always a head turner (pro-sportsmen and atheletes generally have great legs)

everyone has different tastes though - it's like asking blondes or brunettes? me... i prefer red heads! haha

In my experience abs always seem to be the big one. I've had girls that show no interest in me completely change their attitudes towards me if they see me at the beach or something. I assume it's the abs because you can still see arms and shoulders in t-shirts.

From what I have witnessed most girls can’t seem to resist flirting with muscular guys. So I tend to look at what they do and not what they say. People will often tell you what they think is a good answer so they don’t sound superficial. But in reality many of us are much more superficial than we like to admit.

I think upper body. It does depend on what the body half we don't pick looks like (does he have chicken legs? Does he have a belly if his upper half is "muscular?). I'd say legs are a lot more forgiving on men, because you don't see them as much, they're not prone to fat or saddlebags or love handles (which are at the juncture of upper and lower). I rarely see a man and think "cute guy, but I just can't get over those legs", lol.

I agree with Annie about the matching thing.

Actually, my last boyfriend had much more developed legs than upper body. He was an athlete, so he was toned all around and had pretty much as much fat on his body as I have just in my face, but his legs were much more muscular. I thought they were pretty sexy!
