Depression vs. interests

Oh I remember this one.

You end up forcing yourself to do things really and then find the results in it.

Thats what it was like for me.

The results kept me going form the sheer persistence regardless of the state I was in.

could you explain exactly what you mean by results? or give an example?

I'm the opposite right now. I'm depressed because I have so many interests but I don't know how to complete any of them. Well, I do...but it's going to take so much time and hard work.

Is there nothing in the world that interest you? You don't have any goal? If not, find something to do to pass the time or just go out with friends.

In The Dark is pretty much correct. Depression lulls the senses, makes you think nothing can or will excite you. The key is to force yourself to do something, anything: go for a walk, watch a movie, listen to music, talk to someone. Even if you don't want to, force yourself to. It's almost always a better option than sitting around, waiting for things to get better by themselves.

lol, how does that work out? I wish I had too many interests to keep me occupied.

For me it was music.

Seeing the progress I was making.

Gave me that feeling of enthusiasm and motivation.

It could be fitness or something along those lines for yourself.

Whatever you think you can not achieve which you though about doing....

If you have the resources there, do it.
