Getting your stuff back...when is it too late?

We broke up in January...he gave me the stuff I wanted back...However I just remembered that I didnt check the apartment stuff we owned together. I had a gift from my girlfriend...a few actually one being a ceramic set of measuring cups. I want them back. Should I just say "oh well..." and they probably threw it out or try to get it back.

 

Im leaning towards saying frig it because I dont want to go there and see them. So I guess I suck and shoulda remembered before this, but I didnt.

If you don't want to see him then I suppose you can write him an email that you want those stuff back and have a friend pick it up? lol... Another option is to wait around a few more months till you feel you're ready to see him and go pick the stuff up yourself.
