Nervous about tonight!! need advice!

So there is this guy I like at this place I hang out. My friend told him I like him and he seemed very flattered. I am just very shy. He came up to my friend and I and gave a kiss and hug. He is friendly that way, so when we were talking I squeezed his arm and he lightly brushed my hand. Then we invited him out. My friend asked him if he wanted to hang out with us. I really like him, but I am very nervous cuz he's gonna come meet my friend and I. I am not so good at flirting, I am very social but I clam up. I am afraid I might say something dumb. Then I try to think of how to engage in small talk. Help!! Tonight is my chance to get my foot in the door.

Just relax and enjoy yourself it sounds to me that he likes you just as much as you do him. People tend to get a bit shy and unsure in these situations but if you want to be with him and him you then it doesnt matter what either of you say it can be the dumbist thing ever itll be overlooked just for the chance to be with you. Just be yourself dont try to overcopensate and youll do fine

How can you tell he likes me? I mean the touching and I thought I saw him looking at me. But then I thought I was imagining it.

Well the touching is quite an odvious one it is just an excuse to be close to you and the playing with the hair is usualy a give away and the chances are he is looking at you its just you being unsure that you think you might be imagining it.

 

Just trust me on this though when you see him you will know its the way he looks at you, how you test each other with little hints finding excuses to sit near each other or touch, that he will stand closer to you so that your shoulders ocasionaly brush little things like that. But when you are with him if you dont panic dont think just live in the moment you will be fine.
