sophie274
Jeen, I'm so so sorry. She looks like just a kitten! Was she ill? What happened? I know that sometimes kittens just die quite unexpectedly and suddenly. It happened to a friend of mine. One minute her kitten was fine, and the next ... Big hugs. I'm so so sorry. She looks like a true angel. Link to comment

Jeen
Jeen, I'm so so sorry. She looks like just a kitten! Was she ill? What happened? I know that sometimes kittens just die quite unexpectedly and suddenly. It happened to a friend of mine. One minute her kitten was fine, and the next ... Big hugs. I'm so so sorry. She looks like a true angel. Her mom abandoned her last week in my garden, she never showed to feed her, saturday I took her to the doctor and he said she will make it and their is nothing wrong with her she only needs food love and care. I gave her food every four hours she never looked sick or any thing, she looked happy .... This morning when I went to see if she is awake I found her........ Link to comment
Crazyaboutdogs
Awww, I am so sorry Jeen. I suspect the mother abandoned her because she sensed she was ill and wasn't going to last. I believe some animals do that in order to focus their attention on the ones who are in better health. Link to comment
Kaytie
I'm sooooo sorry Jeen! I lost a young kitten years ago. It's so heartbreaking when we lose any member of our family - pets included. I agree with the post above ^ - the mama probably knew she wasn't going to make it. I know that doesn't make it any easier though So sorry ((((Jeen)))) Link to comment

MissIndigo
Awww, I am so sorry. Still, you gave her a week of comfort and love she may not otherwise have had. I wish every kitten or cat could be so lucky. Link to comment
Catdancer
Jeen...it's called failure to thrive. They can be perfectly healthy, yet go downhill fast and pass away. My mom rescued a 4 week old kitten about 2 months ago and she almost lost her 2 times due to failure to thrive. She wa perfectly healthy, but not wanting to eat or put on weight. She still very very tiny now. So tiny that the vet wont spay her until she's at least 1 year old, maybe older. I'm sorry that the baby didnt make it. It's so heartbreaking. Link to comment
Miss Firecracker
My son, when he was a small child, would sometimes ask me if he was a puppet. He was horrified at that possibility. That is a beautiful and very sad song, Jeen. That can be your kitty's song in Heaven. Link to comment
