easyguy
On average, how long do you have sex for? Not foreplay, but sex itself. Link to comment
Catdancer
What do you mean "how long to do you have", like how much time do I allot to it on a daily or weekly basis. Do you mean sex with a partner or by myself? Or do you mean how much time is spent on sex per session? Link to comment
Fudgie
I had to say over 20 min. My bf and I don't have sex often but when we do, we take about 30-45 of actual sex. He takes a long time to ejaculate, and sometimes that doesn't happen. But it's still fun for me! Link to comment
lana111
that depends on the person. one guy it was a couple minutes usually. another its 20-30 minutes usually. but ill just vote with my lifetime average hahah. Link to comment
JonasWaingaro
I believe Kinsey's numbers were ~7minutes as an average - maybe a range of 3-13minutes. I doubt it's changed a whole lot. Folks lose time while having sex so what seems like 30minutes is probably more like 10minutes, etc. There's a fair amount of urban legend out there that 'average' is porn movie average. Editing FTW! I agree. My first boyfriend was around 5 minutes or less; second was about 10 minutes, and the latest ex could go for HOURS! Link to comment
HouseKitten
Anything from 20 minutes to a couple of hours. We make a lot of time for sex, and we don't tend to have quickies. He likes to change position a lot, and he doesn't like to stop till I've cum several times, and time just gets away from you... Link to comment
JonasWaingaro
I agree. My first boyfriend was around 5 minutes or less; second was about 10 minutes, and the latest ex could go for HOURS! I think this can actually be a dysfunction, an inability to ejaculate. Unless there's a lot starting and stopping/holding back to make things last - kinda like tantric stuff (which isn't the question as asked I believe). But if it's hours w/o a break that's an issue. Well....haha Link to comment
mfan
Can I ask a rather clueless question? When you say "15 minutes" - are you thrusting and pumping (or whatever) during that whole time, or are there "breaks" where you are catching your breath again but basically doing nothing? Thanks very much. Link to comment
Kaiser_Soze
I usually cum within the first 15 min, but stay hard and round two is seamless and thats when my gf gets hers. At that point I can last as long as it takes, usually another 10 to 15 minutes is all we need, sometimes I get a second sometimes I don't. Link to comment
In the Dark
Usually 45min to an hour or more on average. Time flies when you're having fun Link to comment
Cognitive_Canine
Foreplay included? From penetration to completion, more than 20 minutes. With foreplay? Hours. Link to comment
KG
Because of my A/D's, I can usually last 30 - 45 mins. If she gets sore, she'll finish me off with oral. And sometimes that doesn't even work. But I'm not complaining, and neither is she. Link to comment

Baily
My first orgasm is fast - within a minute (yea I need to control)..give me 3 min and I'm ready to roll for #2 second - is 30 minutes - that's when I can get my groove on if she's wanting a 3rd - It'll be another 45-60 min haven't had anyone but one wanting a 4th - and I remember that being another 90 min and I never thought I'd ever cum. intercourse for 30 min per session is good for me Link to comment

Came to say this. A lot of people seem to overestimate, even guys I've been with. It probably has something to do with it seeming like forever because so many guys are trying not to finish. My boyfriend finishes in about 10 minutes the first time, then can go on as long as I want for the next round. Except I'm not big on marathon sex and I'd happily stop once we both get ours, though mine comes through foreplay. Link to comment
secretness87
We normally last more than 20 minutes. It takes longer for me to have an orgasm than my boyfriend....and he likes to give me more than one. Link to comment
LBP
Can't answer that. It's all situational. Link to comment
Fudgie
Foreplay included? From penetration to completion, more than 20 minutes. With foreplay? Hours. Yeah I didn't include foreplay in my estimate... Foreplay can take hours. My guy and I both need at least 1 hour of it before we can even THINK about having sex. Most of the time, we are happy with the foreplay. That's actually my favourite part! Link to comment
traderho
Agree with most of the other posters, most people overestimate the time. And I would not be flattered if my guy lasted longer than 20 or 30 minutes. All that means is he is either not turned on enough to orgasm or masturbates so much that its hard for him to achieve orgasm. Link to comment
Shudder
around 30 mins. with foreplay could be closer to an hour. Link to comment
jonny15
I don''t buy into guys lasting over an hour alot. Sorry, but that sounds like he has an ejaculation problem. Unless that's stopping and starting every couple of minutes. Even tho i'm a virgin, I could never imagine lasting that long. Besides that fact that i'd be very tired, my penis would be extremely sore from that much thrusting. Link to comment

Yeah my guy can last over an hour at times... he does have some sexual problems though so that probably explains it. I think there are some guys out there who can ejaculate and then be able to get aroused again pretty quickly. For these guys, sex can last for an hour or more. Link to comment
teabee
About 45 minutes. He can come in less than 2 min if need be, so the marathon sessions are a sign of his awesome control, not the sign of a sexual problem. If we plan to have sex several times that day, he will come faster the first time to save energy for the 2nd and 3rd time. Link to comment
