Please don’t be harsh, I being completely open with you all and would like to know what this (XYZ) person keeps saying these things.

I am seeing someone, let’s call him (ABC) & several Months ago something happened between me and someone he knows (XYZ). Thankfully things ended. But recently (ABC) has been contacting (XYZ) to hang out. (XYZ) always has a remark about me, telling (ABC) to make sure he tells me to wear something sexy ect…

Why does he say these things???? What is he trying to do?? I need Your thoughts Please. I have many conclusions but would like to hear it from others perspective.

To be blunt: he's a shmuck. Were you seeing ABC when you hooked up with XYZ? Does ABC know about the thing that happened with XYZ? If not, you have to tell him. Then he'll know and he'll stop the stuff XYZ is saying. If he doesn't automatically, tell him he should because you find it inappropriate, which it is.

Its kind of hard to know what is going on when we don't know what this something is that happened between ABC & XYZ. But if he is asking you wear sexy things, and is not your boyfriend, he is telling you is that the only way he can enjoy being around you is if you are wearing something sexy. Your best bet is to stay away from ABC

Agree with andrewman

I would not overly read much into the comments beyond XYZ being somewhat juvenile.

If ABC is not aware of your previous relationship with XYZ, perhaps it would be best to be open with him. One would expect that ABC should make it quite clear that he expects XYZ to cease with the superfluous commentary; if he doesn't, you should be having a candid discussion with ABC about appropriate comments by those he chooses to associate with in your company.

No I wasn't with (ABC) when I hooked- up with (XYZ). I'm sure (XYZ) is doing this so it gets to me. But why tell the guy that I am seeing these kind of things, obously (ABC) thinks (XYZ) is just joking...but why joke that way?

(ABC) & (XYZ) just know eachother. Something happened between me & (XYZ) in the past...Now I'm seeing (ABC) and I dont know why (XYZ) is making these types of comments about me. Is he trying to make (ABC) angry or is he just joking? Is he trying to make me angry?

I guess (XYZ) must be trying to ruin what I have with (ABC) possible make him angry or have ideas, But he says it in such a playful manner. I don't get it. (ABC) just laughs and jokes backs, I don't think he undestands why he's saying these things.

I think that XYZ is just making a comment based on his previous experience with you. Personally I dont think that he crossed the line, he just has some inside knowledge and is passing that on to ABC.

I dont think that XYZ is trying to hurt your relationship with ABC, I think it is just friends talking.

Yes, Possibly..But it's more ofter that he's asking (ABC) to bring me along and for me to look sexy..

I agree with andrewman - He's a schmuck. I don't think he's doing it to get to you, I think he's probably a little jealous that you and ABC are happy.

well it doesn't bother (ABC), He just takes it as a Joke which is good, but the more (XYZ) does it the more (ABC) might become concerned..

Well I think you need to tell XYZ that you feel uncomfortable about whats happening and you would prefer it if you saw less of ABC or even stop hanging out with him. I also think that if it does continue then XYZ needs to step up and tell ABC to stop speaking about you that way.
