learningtofly
Ok so the guy I've been crushing on for like 3 years graduated highschool and is now at college here in town studying to become a personal trainer. I go to the gym with him often because I'm shy and nervous in settings that I'm unfamiliar with and well I don't feel like I really fit in at any gym, except when I'm with him that is. Anyway this semester he took his first exercise science class and now is in love with free weights (we used to do machines for the most part). I've never really been introduced to anything that would be done with free weights. (I've done my first squats, bench press, deadlift and cleans in the past three weeks.) Well I did my first cleans and dead lifts as well as a bar-bell calf exercise that killed my shoulders. I've never had to put icy hot on! I left him a comment on his myspace telling him he owes me a shoulder rub because i blame him totally and completely for the pain im in! I'm just wondering, on a scale of one to ten, how "gay" that is. Thanks! Oh I polled two of my friends that know I like him, one gave it a 7-8 and the other a 9. Link to comment
greywolf
It's not gay if you write 'no homo' at the end. Link to comment
learningtofly
at the end of the comment? I'm confused. Link to comment
greywolf
at the end of the comment? I'm confused. Yeah, it's what all the guys do when they say something 'gay' Link to comment
whes
I think greywolf is being sarcastic. This is exactly the sort of thing anyone would do if they liked someone, so it's not necessarily "gay" behaviour. It's simply the behaviour of someone who has a crush on someone else. Link to comment
learningtofly
Oh haha, well I meant it in a completely gay way. Mabey if he wasn't emotionally blind he'd see I like him! Link to comment
DaBladeRoden
The crushing on him part may be a little gay though. Link to comment
Capricorn3
Is your crush gay or straight? If he's straight he might be a little shocked receiving a message like that, lol. Link to comment
MitchF
to me that just seems like a satirical joke, and not much else to it. Link to comment
Loopii
Well it all depends on how he takes it..he could take it as a joke...or he could think its a bit weird...to me...it dont sound gay at all Its all on how he takes it Link to comment
ramcoro
Well, it does sound a little on the gay side. What did he say to it? Link to comment
learningtofly
Well he dosen't know i'm gay and i'm unsure whether or not he is. My question was more along the lines of how gay will this be percived? He requires comment approvals and as of now he hasn't approved. Possibly because he hasn't seen it. If it's not approved by tonight i'll know he dosen't want it on his page. We just went the the gym actually, we talked for like 30 min after, he just left. I didn't think to ask him for my back rub. And i've never seen 'no-homo' anywhere. Link to comment
DaBladeRoden
It appears to be a big rap thing link removed Link to comment
learningtofly
He denied the comment but has seen it. I didnt' mention it to him the last time we chilled, oh well Link to comment
Capricorn3
Maybe he's straight and a little freaked out right now. Link to comment
Miss Firecracker
You may not know he is gay, but he certainly knows you are. Link to comment
learningtofly
that's the thing- he's not freaked out. I've talked to him twice since I left the comment. Oh well, mission accomplished i guess. Link to comment
MitchF
how can you be sure. i can ask anyone in my group for a massage and you know what i'd get? a massage. no one would think anything of it either. Link to comment
learningtofly
well we have an intersting friendship, there's a variety of people i could ask and get a massage. it's just different. we read into everything eachother's actions constantly. Link to comment
jimmyvanbeck
how gay is it that everytime i hug my friend we grap each others' ass, squeeze it, and hold it? Point: i don't think your predicament is too "gay". Link to comment
casanova23
wow come on now plp, that's sooo totally NOT a big deal. it sounds like it's just a joke... i'm actually kind of surprised he denied it. Is it really homophobic where you live?? me and my friends do WAAAAY gayer things. I'm a little insulted plp would say that's a 9 on the gaydar lol....i'd give it a 3 Link to comment
