jettison
Still hasn't answered what the nature of the relationship between the step-sister and the ex is. Oh, sorry. Just an FYI... when I post inquisition threads I put "**INQUISITION**" in the subject line. You'll notice that for every one of my inquisition threads. This particular thread was just a normal old advice thread though so the questions I answer are voluntary. That said, if this were an inquisition thread, I'd go ahead and tell you that they aren't close, and that they don't talk beyond family gatherings over the holidays. Link to comment
greywolf
If I had an ex from long ago that slept with my sister, I wouldn't be hurt, but I would find it a little... I don't want to sound judgmental because I don't think it's wrong, but the only word I can think of is 'gross.' Link to comment
SapphireNoir10
Personally its a no go area for me. Even If i was the one dumped. And I was fair game as was the sibling its still just...no. It would feel very wrong to me. Link to comment

It would feel very wrong to me. It is feeling that way. That's why I posted the thread. It's a strange gray area though. It's hard to say "this is morally wrong", but it doesn't pass the feel test. FathomFear
My sister once dated a guy who cheated on her with another woman, so she broke up with him. Then, out of spite, she then proceeded to sleep with the same woman she cheated on him with--lol. Link to comment
lavenderdove
I don't know... i wouldn't do it... the world is full of people to date and have sex with that you can find someone else with less baggage. family relationships are so complex and complicated, that you can create all kinds of extra jealousies, sense of betrayal, sense of general weirdness/discomfort etc. you may be ok with it, but it might affect the relationship between the sisters negatively, and permanently. If you want to see a person go truly berserk, read about the impact when someone sleeps with someone's brother or sister... it involves in many cases a heavy dose of betrayal (i.e., you have the whole world to sleep with and you slept with my SISTER?) and almost an incest-like taboo not to mess with siblings in the same family. Just too emotionally loaded a situation. Link to comment
BIGIDFSH
I would castrate any ex of mine that slept with my sister! Well the fact that she's 15 years younger than me has a lot to do with that Link to comment
Brigadoon
Hmmm... Does getting EXTREMELY drunk and maudlin and... ahem fooling around with the brother of your most recent ex (who happened to bear a striking resemblance to each other) count me into this thread? Happened a few years back, didn't cause too much fuss with my ex until about six months later when it became a bit of a spitting contest between the two as to who was going to pull me. Turns out neither managed it lol. They don't get on particularly well now; but in my defence they never really did... Link to comment
