blanche88
What are some ideas for a second date for someone with no money? The guy I like texted me to ask for a second date, but only made one vague suggestion as to what we could do, and asked me for ideas. I can't think of anything... If it's relevant, our first date was going to a bar... Although originally we intended to have coffee instead... Maybe I should suggest that we have coffee? Is that normal for a second date? Shallow
Switch it up a little and see how you two fare in an outdoor setting. I'm not sure what the weather's like by you (here it's nice), so maybe do lunch in a park or go hiking/biking together, if you're both into that sort of thing. You've talked and probably got a feel for each other's interests, so pick a mutual one and do it together.
vantagelight
Walks are good, and free. You really get to know someone during a walk, you get to see how they view the world.
nadid
I prefer unconventional things like maybe going for a walk in a park (as others suggested), or going to see a site in the city with a coffee, water bottle, or whatever. For a date, one time I went to walk around this pavilion in downtown that has multilevel fountains. There are little benches to sit on around the little waterfalls.. and it was quite romantic at night with the water lit up by little spotlights. We laughed, had fun and talked for hours. You don't need to sit down and have dinner with someone to have fun and get to know them.
blanche88
He actually suggested that we go to the park, but seemed unsure about it and asked me for suggestions... And he suggested that we go at 5 or 6, but that's when it will be dark. I said that I couldn't think of anything, and that the park sounded okay. Then he never replied to my text. So, I'm not sure what's happening...
