how do you not come on too strong?

So freshly out of a 2yr relationship, I found myself crushing on this guy. He is 36, punk skater, amazing. I'm totally twitterpated. I flirt with him, but I do feel I am coming on too strong, especially for someone like him.

 

Anyone have an advice on what I should or shouldn't do?
