mia616
Hey I'm from Boston. Red Sox Nation woohoo! There are some nice restaraunts and bars around the fenway park area. You should totally visit Fenway too.... Maybe go to a game? Or there are tours of fenway during the day that are not too expensive. Also depends on what you like to do. I would suggest walking around fanieul hall area. There are nice shops there and places to hang out. Also Newbury Street is a trendy area. Boston Common is nice to walk around also. Boston is definitely a walking city so make sure to wear your walking shoes and spend the day walking around and stopping wherever interests you!!! To get a good view of the WHOLE city you should go up to the top of the hub- or the top of the prudential center. You can take an elevator up to the top, and take a "walking sky tour" of the city. They have a bar and restaraunt there as well, which I think is breathtaking!!! Have fun!! Link to comment
Dako
Boston has some substantial art museums. I tend to "collect" them wherever I go. Link to comment
sidehop
Sunset Grill in Allston, not too far away from downtown Boston. If you love beer and want the best selection (about 112 different beers on tap) including great food, definitely check it out. Fun and friendly atmosphere too! I've been there few times when my friends and I are down south. link removed Link to comment

sidehop
Hmm, downtown Boston isn't near from a lot of 'good' beaches. Up north in Rockport there are tons of beaches along the coast. You basically follow along the coastline and there are enough beaches to choose from. Or if you have time and can go down south around the Cape, (haven't been there yet) they say it's some of the best places you can visit. Definitely check out Google Maps and do the Street View Link to comment
