Seymore
I found out through someone recently that my ex is getting married in a couple of months. This guy cheated on his wife with her, then proposed to her, only a couple of months after he divorced his wife. After the shock wore off, I almost felt a little relieved. At first I thought "The guy before me proposed to her, the guy after me proposed to her...what do they see in her that I didn't?", and then I realized..."What do they NOT see in her that I DID?" Her anger, her disrespectfulness and nastiness, that's what. I felt a little down when I came to the realization that she WAS with this guy when she texted me on Christmas Eve (to tell me she heard a song I like and it made her think of me), and they hadn't broken up after all - so most likely the text was just friendly, nothing more. I've gotta admit I was hoping it was her still being stuck on me and that I still had that kind of power, but I'm starting to think she wasn't as hung up on me after our breakup as our mutual friend would have me believe. Either way, she's his problem. And given the fact that he'd mess around on his last wife with someone, he's her problem. Not only do their personalities point to a hellish rollercoaster for their marriage, but the statistics are incredibly unfavorable. Maybe now she'll finally reap what she's sown and fall into this ever-deeper hole she's dug. I feel like I'm watching a movie, waiting for the inevitable catastrophe so I can say "Wow...that could've been me..." Link to comment
HeartGoesOn
Since he cheated on his wife with her, he'll cheat on her with someone else. But, she set the stage, so be happy that she's dancing on it with him, and not you. Link to comment

Once that finally made sense to me I had to stop myself from laughing out loud at work! The guy totally looks the type too. Real smarmy, like he'd either beat her up or cheat on her. Link to comment

Seymore
I'm really slow.. help me out here!! A guy has a wife and a mistress. He leaves his wife and marries the mistress, now she becomes his wife. According to most, a person who cheats once will cheat again, so now there's a job opening for another mistress. Link to comment

I can understand your sentiments, but here's the problem: You need to get where you just don't care one way or there other about any of that. Link to comment
