Dani_California
Alright so last night I was having horrible lower abdominal pain whenever i stepped on my left leg. It felt like in was being stabbed. At the time, my girlfriend of almost 3 years was making dinner and doing homework. I told her I needed to go to the hospital (I was afraid it was TSS) and she just started yelling at me about dinner and her homework, but she took me to the hospital. It took three hours and they couldnt find anything wrong with me so they sent me home even though I was still in pain. When we got home she told me I ruined her night and I "inconvienced her." When she said this I saw her in a total new light. I never thought that I would ever be an inconvience to her and now I'm second-guessing our relationship. I'm I being to sensitive or am I justified for feeling hurt? Link to comment
Juxtapoz
I think you're overly justified to feel hurt, unless it's a habitual thing to go to the hospital. I had an ex who was always cryin' about something and had to go to Urgent Care every month for one thing or another. So after awhile I became less and less sensitive to his problems, but I never yelled at him for it because we all handle pain differently. But if this isn't something habitual...I'd be second-guessing things too. Nothing's worse than feeling awful and not getting emotional support from your loved one. Link to comment
Puddincup
Let's just say that she didn't act very lovingly towards you. If she is like this a lot, I would rethink the relationship. If this is an isolated incident, I would talk to her about it and see if you can work through it. Link to comment
Dani_California
This is not habitual for me. I was last at the ER in February but I had gotten into a horrible accident and had a severe concussion. I also go see my regular doctor whenever I have a horrible cough just to see if its strep throat- I'm prone to strep. But other than that this is habitual. I hate hospitals so I try to stear clear. catfeeder
You're justified, all right. That girl doesn't sound like a keeper. Link to comment
sidehop
She's definitely being insensitive but has she always been this way? Link to comment
