restingpieces
I always felt it. If ever I was down (without his knowledge) and he wasn't around, he never failed to call, text or e-mail almost within minutes. There were countless times when we would text each other at the exact same time. And so forth. Did you ever feel a real same wave-length type connection? It's funny because two nights ago, I was asleep and woke up because I felt like an elephant had just sat on my chest. I couldn't fall asleep and went over to my computer because I was wide awake, to see that he had tweeted only moments before regarding his difficulty with sleeping. However, last night was the first night that I thought about him and legitimately became aware of a disconnect; the tie just seemed... gone. Weird, I know. But I have one with my best friend. We definitely have endless coincidences, and have for over a decade, so I know they're real. Link to comment
petite
Yes. I feel even though we had our share of problems emotionally we had a strong connection. but, the connection was with the person I fell in love with, not the person he turned in to or better the person he was during the breaking up. doesitmatter30
Yep. Still do, after 13 years, and 7 apart. It's irritating, really... Link to comment
AutumnBorn
Absolutely. It makes me crazy. He was emotionally disconnected, and I can't get there. Link to comment
jimmajam
Sure. I know we had something special. We had a lot of different interests, but we already understood each other so well as people. I know we had love and some type of connection. This is why it hurts so much and how easily she walked away. Link to comment
headwreck
Absolutely. It makes me crazy. He was emotionally disconnected, and I can't get there. He can't get to you rather...? OP yes I really did feel that. But I feel i'm losing it with time. I think he wants it to go. Link to comment
