meeting up with ex please help me- how do i act or behave

so its been a few days since things ended with my ex she initiated it and today i am going by her work to pick up some money she owes me. I have never met up with am ex and don't how to act or what things to avoid saying or doing... i imagine it will be very brief and all i may go is get my money and be on my way please help me guys

I would say be fairly neutral, not cold but not overly friendly. It will be very hard I now, but if you seem to upset and emotional you will reinforce her reasons for ending it. If however you seem to cold and distant she will think you just dont care.

 

Keep it short, polite and get out and regroup as quickly as you can.

Just be neutral and professional. Considering you really haven't started NC yet (sounds like you're still healing from the emotions of the breakup), just get your stuff and get the hell out of there.
