Seraphim
I need some ideas for my wedding anniversary this year. We are moving this July so it will be the last one we spend near family for the conceivable future. Should we involve our families? Link to comment
FarthestEdge
In a word- YES You should involve them, by asking them to take care of your son so you and your husband can have an intimate celebration.... I suspect when you move, it will be awhile before you find someone you can trust, and feel is capable of watching him...so this may be your last opportunity for awhile... Happy Anniversary! april15
Something that reminds you of how you met, or the first things that got you together. A certain meal you prepare, a favorite place or event. Planned intimacy at the beginning or middle of the day can put you both in a good mood, plus since you will need a shower a shared shower can be fun too before you head out to do whatever whether it is with family or just the two of you. If he is the kind of guy that likes to plan as well? Divide the day into 2 parts so he can plan something for you as well. Happy Anniversary! Link to comment

We met at University so there is not too much there to provide "entertainment" value, but we do have things we do like to do. They are good suggestions though.......my husband is just hard to plan with since he is not here and plans are not too much his thing because he changes them like he changes underwear.
