Freckles

Recommended Posts

Was in the washroom and i've noticed that i'm seeing more freckles on my neck and face. Now i do have 2 moles one bigger then the other, saw the Dr. and he said it wasn't cancerous (very thankful). So now is there anyway for me to stop from more freckles from coming ? and can i get rid of the ones that i have now ?

Thanks everyone.

I heared bleaching your skin might help, but that sounds effed.

Bella - i dislike them so much i feel like they are taking over and its lowering my self-esteem, plus i just don't feel happy having them.

oh stop, i wish i had freckles. they're adorable.

I'm the other way around a few is alright but to many can be well to many.

I guess we all have our likes and dislikes. We just have to find someone who likes us for who we are and stop trying to change who we are but accept and be happy with the physicality we've been given.

As you grow older your skin becomes more sensitive to sun exposure, and your freckles will respond more quickly. They're your sun gauge. Use sunscreen--all year round. Most windows don't protect from the UVA and UVB rays, not even in your car, so go for a broad-spectrum brand. Apply it throughout the day, and don't forget the tops of your hands.

Be careful around your eyes, as the chemicals can travel into them. There are certain blends specifically designed for the eye area, and others are designed specifically for the face that hep prevent breakouts and irritation problems from regular (and cheaper) body sunscreens.

You don't need to think of this in terms of just preventing freckles, but rather the UV damage you can't see happening. The freckles are just the canary in the coal mine.

Just because you dont like your freckles doesn't mean that other people dont like them. Think of yourself as better off than other people because you have freckles... not worse off. Never be ashamed of how you look.

Well i'm pretty ashamed of my looks seems i can't do nothing to fix it. And i have yet to find one person who finds them sexy, glad you guys like them, me i wanna get rid of them.

I get a patch of freckles under one of my eyes in the summer and then they fade the rest of the year. I think freckles are cute on both sexes.

lucky.....

i have to wear spf 50 or i will get them really badly too. i wear spf 15 in the winter though, since i'm barely out and the sun isn't too bad.

i hate my freckles too. i try to bleach them out, but then it made me really pale and i don't like being oddly pale so i tanned it out and then after that, i just wear spf 50 all the time. you can try to bleach them if you want, but it's really bad for your skin. just use sun block all the time.

I used to hate my freckles.. I have them everywhere, and the older I get, the more appear. They don't even disappear in the winter, so I'm a veritable smorgasbord of freckles. I think after a while I just resigned myself to the fact that I had them and they weren't going to go away. They do not look as bad as you think, I'm sure. We're all our own worst critic, especially in the looks department.
