It's hard to tell from what little information you've given....but I would say he's not denying you ever had a romantic realtionship he's just saying you don't now. Link to comment

To you he shouldn't even exist from now on. Let him run his mouth as much as he wants to. Just ignore it. Who cares at this point if he's denying it. Let him.
